A recorded message was left on my Mother's answering machine. Stating this was to collect a debt etc....I have not had that phone number for over 25 years....Isn't that against the privacy act???????

last year when i was living in las vegas just started my job about a month ago i get this call at my job when it has been busy,and they said hello mr.aquion this so and so from vanru credit corporation do you know that you have an outstanding debt,i said yes but i cant talk now i am at work,so when i got home i called them,they wanted me to pay over 300.00 a month for 9 months withc i was only bring home just over 100.00 a week,so i asked my employer if i could have more hours,i think it was about a week later waiting to go to work i get a phone call that my boss wanted to meet me at my house,anyway when they got their i found out that they coudent give me anymore hours and i was been let go from the company,so i blame vanru for loseing my job in vegas,now i am in texas and my wages are being garnish ,i did non get any letter from them for garnishment,how would they feel if this happend to them.

Van Ru credit corporation agents have been calling me since September for a loan I took as a student. I get calls at least eight times a day. They also call me once a week at my work place. I asked them to stop the calls. They leave messages on my voice mail to call them back.
