partners finanaical is harrasing me over a charge I was billed over a gym contract that I was let out of becasue of a high risk pregnancy and I called the gym and asked if I owed the money they said no they withdrew my contract from partners finanacial but they keep calling and calling me names and stuff like that

If the credit company, here the gym, itself cleared out that you do not owe the said bill/debt, they should not be calling you. Do you have the proof of the contact?That its been canceled?Anything will do. Let PFS know that you retain the papers and oh they are violatng the FDCPA.According to section, using abusive or profane language is prohibited. Remind them this the next time, tell them you do not owe the debt and that you'll take action. Try reading this out:
"Pursuant to [your state] state law, this is to inform you that this phone call is being recorded. If you do not consent to being recorded, you need to terminate this call. "Pursuant to [your state] state law, continuation of this phone call after officially being informed that it is being recorded implies consent to be recorded. This recording will be used to pursue Fair Debt Collection Practice Act violations in a court of law".
